OLIVIER AYALA
I am Olivier Alonso
Ayala Tobias. I am 14 years old and sixth grade
in FESA. I was selected as the Student of the
Month first because God helped me to obtain
excellent results in my tests and due my
sacrifice in doing my homework and academic
activities. God also blessed
me with the recovery from a sport injury. After
that I was promoted from fifth to sixth grade. I
believe I owe everything to God and to all
people who organize activities that foster our
integral formation.
I was born and raised in Las Pampas, Tecoluca, San Vicente in El Salvador. My mother works with her sewer machine from home. My father is teacher in philosophy. I live with five brothers and I have another one living in another place. Our life has been full of sacrifices; when my little sister was born my dad was laid off, and my mother had to take care of the family income.
I have always loved soccer. I used to play soccer with my friends after coming back from school, in a little soccer field in my neighborhood; that changed my life. A teacher in my school learnt about FESA’s try outs and told me to participate. He took us to the San Vicente’s stadium and thanks God I passed the tryouts. Today, I am proud to be a FESA student. I have spent three years enjoying the benefits that FESA offers to its students and youth in my country.
I have many dreams which now are my objectives and goals: the most important? To be part of team in USA or Europe. I would like to earn a college degree, because in the future I see myself as an Engineer in auto mechanics or computer systems and the help my family to overcome our current situation and improve our lives. Sometimes I dream with my eyes opened and I see myself playing with the best soccer clubs in the world. I also see myself playing guitar. Here in FESA, we receive music training also and I am learning to play guitar.
As adult, one of my dreams (and I pray to God to bless me with that dream) is to have the ability to help other people that live like me or in worse living conditions. I dream about helping them to improve their quality of life in every aspect, especially those who practice sports like me. I know that God and FESA will be with me during this journey to make my dreams come true, because in my country (El Salvador) does not exist any other foundation that could make children and youth’s dreams come true.
For those who love futbol.
